Topic.  A Future of Creativity, Chaos and Collaboration.

We live and work in a world where change is business as usual. No longer can we develop extensive policies, procedures, tools and templates that are entombed in Quality Management or Six Sigma systems and evolve incrementally. The way in which we do business in many industries is changing faster than we can track it. Are Knowledge Management techniques a better approach to maintaining control and direction in self-managed and agile teams? This session sets the scene for the conference and introduces the issues, topics and speakers for the next two days. It provides an opportunity for participates to raise topics of interest and set the agenda for Day 2.

David Williams is the President of the Australian Society of Knowledge Management, is on the Board of the Institute for Information Management and is a councillor on the ACT Chapter of AIPM.
