Alexandra Lederer moved to Australia from the French Riviera in 2010. She was part of the first Knowledge Management practitioners at the emergence of this practice in the early 2000s in France. At that time she worked within Amadeus to pioneer a pragmatic approach to collaboration and knowledge management. Since the mid-2000s, she has been blending traditional L&D with KM concepts to focus on what she believes really adds value: connecting people to share their stories and lessons learned. As a Learning & Organisational Development Manager at Genea, Alexandra was able to experiment giving power to people. She created and led “circles”, providing autonomy to employees to co-create their learning and employee value propositions, boost staff engagement and get things done. She recently joined Ovolo Hotels and is creating an agile and mobile L&D/KM model to R.O.C.K. Ovolo with the latest and future collaboration and co-creation practices. Alexandra enjoys sharing her experience and is regularly invited as guest speaker at international conferences and meetups in France, Australia and Thailand. Alexandra is also a co-founding member of the AHRI NSW Learning & Development Network.
